2002 EVENTS

• December 6, 2002: SFB participated in "Holiday Cheer" with the Benton Engineering Council raising over $1500 in donations to purchase holiday gifts for under priviledged children in Gainesville.
  
  
• November 27, 2002: SFB sponsored "Canned Food Drive" collected 190 food items, all of which were delivered to St. Francis House, Hospice and the Salvation Army.
  
  
• October 18, 2002: SFB hosted a talk by Mr. Steve Holmes from Kelly Scientific Resources.
  
  
• October 16, 2002: UF SFB published a chapter website (for the first time in ages).
  
  
• September 25 & 26, 2002: UF SFB created a resume CD. CD's were given to prospective employers at the UF Career Fair.
  
  
• September 24, 2002: UF SFB participated in the Engineering Day event held at the new Reitz Union Ballroom.
  
  
• September 5, 2002: Rick Sayers fom the Career Resource Center conducted a resume workshop with UF SFB.
  
  
• September 2, 2002: Annual UF SFB Canoe Trip took place at the Suwannee Canoe Outpost.
  
  
• August 23, 2002: UF SFB tour of Cordis of Johnson & Johnson.
  
  
• April 27, 2002: UF SFB was recognized at the National Society For Biomaterials Conference as the most active chapter.
